Hi, I’m Emily.
Somatic coach, nervous system guide, bodyworker, mama, and eternal student of healing.
I’ve always known I was here to help people find their way back to wholeness. As a little girl, I thought I’d be a pastor. I even went to seminary—years after life took a few turns I never saw coming. A painful divorce. Single motherhood. Starting over in a new city with my kids and a fierce hope for a better life.
I know what it means to rebuild. To carry grief and still choose joy. To trust the body again after it’s been through hell and back.
That’s why this work matters to me. It’s not just what I do—it’s who I am.
What I Offer
I’ve spent the last 20 years supporting people in healing—through bodywork, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed care. My work combines science-backed tools with soulful presence. Together, we explore how the body stores stories… and how it can also write new ones.
I’m trained in bodywork, somatic coaching, and Neurosomatic Intelligence. But more importantly—I listen. To your body, your patterns, your longings. To the truth beneath the surface that’s ready to come forward.
Why “Nurturing Shalom”?
Shalom isn’t just peace. It’s wholeness, completeness. A sense of balance and harmony that includes everything—even the messy, complicated parts of life.
To nurture shalom is to create space for all of you—your strength, your softness, your grief, your dreams. It’s not about fixing. It’s about becoming. Becoming safe in your own body. Becoming who you were always meant to be.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
This is a space where nothing about you is too much or too broken. You can come as you are—tired, hopeful, disconnected, curious. You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to be willing to show up.
I’ll walk beside you, gently helping you:
Understand your nervous system
Rebuild trust with your body
Find clarity about who you are and what you need
Create rhythms of healing that work in your real life
You don’t have to white-knuckle your way through anymore. We’ll go slow. We’ll listen. And we’ll build something beautiful.
A Bit of My Everyday Life
I love early mornings when the world is quiet and the kettle is just starting to sing
I believe in sacred slowness, homemade everything, and tending to life like a garden
I light up when I get to talk about nervous system healing, Ancient Hebrew, and how the seasons mirror our lives
My two dogs - Chance and Fenn - are never far from my feet and love to hike as much as I do
I believe nature is our greatest teacher
And I believe wholeness isn't a destination—it’s a way of being with yourself, again and again
I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s begin, together.
